Today, February 16, 2026, Czech news channels reported that a decision has been made in the Czech Republic to launch the second round of registration for obtaining a special long-term residence permit (ZDP) for refugees from Ukraine. Many people had been waiting for this decision, but until the very last day there was no certainty whether the program would continue — especially against the backdrop of the changing political situation and discussions in parliament.
