About Us
We are the people who have walked this path ourselves — who once stood in lines in a foreign country, unsure where to go or whom to trust. We started learning Czech from scratch, got lost in documents, struggled with work issues, and tried to understand the rules — often simply because we didn’t know them. We experienced all of this right here — in Czechia, among unfamiliar streets and unfamiliar laws.
That’s why CESTA K INTEGRACI was founded — a community of people who now help newcomers understand Czech society, its laws, and everyday life.
We explain, inform, and accompany — so that misunderstandings and unnecessary conflicts can be avoided. Our goal is to make coexistence between cultures natural, respectful, and beneficial for everyone involved.
We are not officials or an institution. We are ordinary people — just like those arriving in Czechia. The only difference is that we now have experience. And we’re here to help others find their way, understand Czech rules, customs, and values, and feel safe and welcome — with respect for their surroundings.
Behind us are hundreds of stories. We’ve helped people find housing and jobs, navigate the healthcare system, and understand official documents. We work in cooperation with the police, schools, and the city of Plzeň. We organize information sessions and activities that promote mutual understanding and respect.
Behind us are thousands of messages, hundreds of consultations, and dozens of stories where real help made a difference. We supported the first waves of arriving refugees, helped open humanitarian centers, and worked in cooperation with the police, schools, and the city of Plzeň. We helped create spaces where children could laugh again without fear — and where adults found more than just paperwork, but understanding and support.
And most importantly — we’re here. We don’t promise the impossible. We don’t pretend to know everything. We’re simply the hand that’s there when you need it most.

STATUTES OF THE ASSOCIATION CESTA K INTEGRACI, z.s.
ARTICLE I: Name and Registered Address
Name of the Association: CESTA K INTEGRACI, z.s.
Registered Address: Vlkova 532/8, Žižkov, 130 00 Prague 3, Czech Republic
ARTICLE II: Purpose and Activities of the Association
The purpose of the association is to support and integrate foreigners from Ukraine and third countries into Czech society, to provide humanitarian assistance, legal and psychological support, and to organize cultural, sporting, and educational events, including Czech language courses. The association also aims to support the Ukrainian and other migrant communities in the Czech Republic.
The association organizes:

Collections, projects, seminars, cultural and sporting events.

Czech language courses in cooperation with accredited language schools.

Cooperation with individuals and legal entities, NGOs, the Police of the Czech Republic, the Foreign Police, Municipal Police, and local authorities.
Provision of Services:

Services are offered to members free of charge or for a symbolic contribution.

Non-members may access services for a fee. All income is used to fulfill the objectives of the association.
In accordance with Act No. 219/1999 Coll., the financing of weapons, ammunition, or anything supporting violence is strictly prohibited.
Humanitarian Aid:
The association is entitled to organize collections to support its members and other individuals affected by war (e.g. medicines, generators, evacuation vehicles), strictly for civilian purposes.

ARTICLE III: Membership
Any natural person over the age of 18 who agrees with the statutes may become a member.
Membership arises by:
Submission of a written application approved by the board.
The application must include consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
Member Rights:

Participate in all activities of the association.

Access services under preferential conditions.

Vote at general meetings.

Take part in decision-making processes.

Receive information about the activities of the association.

Monitor financial operations of the association.
Member Duties:

Comply with the statutes.

Pay membership fees (if agreed in writing).

Treat the association’s property with care.

Support the goals of the association.

Protect the good name of the association.

Not disclose other members’ personal data to third parties and protect internal information.
Termination of Membership:
By death, written resignation, or expulsion due to violation of the statutes.
Membership Register:
The association maintains a non-public register of members, including citizenship, full name, date of birth, and address.
Personal data may be disclosed only to entities providing specific services for the member (e.g. notaries). These entities are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality.

ARTICLE V: Conducting the General Meeting
The meeting is convened at least 30 days in advance, with the agenda included.
Quorum:
Attendance of at least 10% of members and the full board is required. If quorum is not met, the board has the right to convene a repeat meeting with reduced requirements.
Decision-Making:

Ordinary matters: Simple majority of those present.

Amendments to the statutes or board composition: Two-thirds majority.

Dissolution of the association: Two-thirds majority plus consent of all board members.
ARTICLE VI: Financial Management
Sources of Funding: Membership fees, donations, grants, income from paid services and sale of goods (e.g. souvenirs, publications).
Use of Funds: Exclusively for fulfilling the objectives of the association.
ARTICLE VII: Dissolution of the Association
In case of dissolution, the assets will be transferred to another non-profit organization with a similar mission, or through the merger of associations.
Final Provisions:

The non-profit organization CESTA K INTEGRACI, z.s. During the Association's activities (e.g. workshops, social or educational events), we may take photographs and videos documenting our work. From time to time, we may organize competitions for users of our services.
